Trace Minerals Liquid Magnesium Glycinate (240 ml) contains 120 mg of magnesium per daily dose of 8 ml, in the form of magnesium glycinate. Each dose also contains 10 mg of ConcenTrace® trace minerals from concentrated seawater. The liquid is available in Lemon-lime and Tropical Dream flavours, and you can take it neat or mix it with water or another drink. Take the dose 30 to 60 minutes before going to bed, so the supplement easily fits into your evening routine. One bottle is sufficient for 30 days with daily use.
Magnesium glycinate is a chelated form, in which magnesium is firmly bound to glycine. This compound is stable and has a relatively mild taste, as glycine naturally tastes slightly sweet. Therefore, magnesium glycinate is easy to process in a liquid formula that you can take neat or mixed with a drink.
Glycine is the smallest amino acid and naturally has a slightly sweet taste. It occurs in protein-rich foods such as meat, fish, dairy, eggs and legumes. Gelatine and bone broth also contain relatively large amounts of glycine.
Magnesium is naturally found in green leafy vegetables, nuts, seeds, wholegrain products, legumes and cocoa. Bananas and avocado also contain magnesium.
ConcenTrace® is a concentrate of trace minerals from Trace Minerals, made from concentrated seawater. It naturally contains various minerals and trace elements. Each dose of this supplement contains 10 mg of ConcenTrace®.
Trace minerals, also known as trace elements, are minerals that occur in food in very small quantities. Examples are zinc, iron, copper, selenium, manganese and iodine. They are found in seawater, soil and foods such as fish, nuts and wholegrain products.
