Solgar Glucosamine Chondroitin MSM (60 or 120 tablets) contains a combination of glucosamine HCl (shellfish-free), chondroitin sulfate and methylsulfonylmethane (MSM). Each tablet provides 750 mg glucosamine HCl (of which 623 mg elemental glucosamine), 600 mg chondroitin sulfate and 368 mg MSM. The tablets are suitable for daily use and are packaged in dark glass to protect against light, oxygen and moisture. Due to the natural variation in ingredients, the color of the tablets may vary.
Glucosamine HCl is a form of glucosamine without sulfate bond, in this product derived from a shellfish-free source.
MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is an organic sulfur compound that naturally occurs in small amounts in plants and foods.
This formula is not suitable for vegans and vegetarians, as the chondroitin is derived from an animal source.
Taking it with a meal can increase tolerability and supports good absorption of the formulation.
