Solgar Advanced Acidophilus Plus (60 or 120 capsules) contains a combination of two well-known bacterial strains: Lactobacillus acidophilus LA-5 and Bifidobacterium lactis BB-12. Each capsule provides a total of 500 million viable microorganisms. Thanks to a special polysaccharide matrix, these bacteria are protected against stomach acid, and the product remains stable without refrigeration.
This number refers to the amount of live bacteria present in each capsule at the time of production.
