Quicksilver Scientific AndroShield-X (50 ml) contains pregnenolone, complemented by a botanical blend of hesperetin extract (from Citrus aurantium L., standardised to 98% hesperetin), diindolylmethane (DIM) and chrysin extract (from Oroxylum indicum, standardised to 98% chrysin). Each serving of 2 ml, or 4 pumps, provides 8 mg pregnenolone and 80 mg of the botanical blend. The packaging contains 25 servings. The product is processed with Quicksilver Scientific's nanoemulsion technology and is dispensed using a pump dispenser.
What is pregnenolone?
Pregnenolone is a steroid compound belonging to the group of steroids, a large class of organic compounds with a characteristic ring structure. The substance is usually synthesised from plant sterols, such as diosgenin from the yam root (Dioscorea), or from cholesterol. In isolated form, pregnenolone is used as an ingredient in food supplements.

Hesperetin is a substance belonging to the group of flavonoids and occurs naturally in citrus fruits, such as Citrus aurantium (bitter orange).
What is diindolylmethane (DIM)?

Chrysin is a substance belonging to the group of flavonoids and occurs naturally in the plant Oroxylum indicum and in honey and propolis, among others.

A standardised extract contains a determined, guaranteed percentage of a specific component. In this product, both the hesperetin extract and the chrysin extract are standardised to 98% of the respective component.
