Quicksilver Liposomal Vitamin C with R-Lipoic Acid (50 ml) contains a combination of buffered vitamin C (sodium ascorbate) and sodium R-lipoic acid, in an easily absorbable liposomal liquid. Each serving provides 500 mg vitamin C and 25 mg alpha lipoic acid, with added phosphatidylcholine from soy lecithin. The product contains no added sugars. The packaging is shipped chilled and, once opened, remains usable for 30 days if stored in the refrigerator.
Liposomal vitamin C is encapsulated in small fat droplets, which may contribute to efficient absorption of the ingredient.
Buffered vitamin C (sodium ascorbate) is known to be gentler on the stomach than non-buffered forms.
R-lipoic acid is a form of lipoic acid that is highly valued in supplements due to its good bioavailability.
Yes, this product contains phosphatidylcholine derived from soy lecithin. However, this raw material is highly purified, with all soy proteins completely removed. Therefore, the manufacturer designates the product as "soy protein free."
