Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport): Adults may consume a maximum of 1200 milligrams of N-acetylcysteine per day (this is equivalent to 2 capsules of this product). For children aged 2 to 18 years the maximum amount is lower. Furthermore, the RIVM advises not to use these supplements for children under two years of age.
