NOW Foods Vitamin C Gummies (90 gummies) contain 250 mg of vitamin C (as ascorbic acid) per daily dose of 2 gummies. The gummies have a natural orange flavour and are made with pectin as a plant-based alternative to gelatine. The formula is sweetened with, among other things, tapioca syrup, cane sugar, and stevia extract. With a recommended dose of 2 gummies per day, one pack is enough for approximately 1.5 months.
Ascorbic acid is the chemical name for vitamin C. It is a water-soluble vitamin naturally found in various types of vegetables and fruit.
Vitamin C is found in, among others, citrus fruits, kiwis, strawberries, peppers, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and blackcurrants.
Pectin is a natural gelling agent extracted from fruit, such as citrus fruits and apples. In these gummies, pectin is used as a plant-based alternative to gelatine.
The gummies contain natural flavours that provide a fresh orange taste, complemented by natural colouring from vegetable and fruit juices.
Tapioca syrup and cane sugar have been added for texture and taste. Per daily dose, the gummies contain 4 grams of added sugars.
