NOW Foods Virgin Coconut Oil 1000 mg (120 softgels) offers cold-pressed, unrefined coconut oil in easy-to-swallow softgels. This product is suitable for people who want to add coconut oil to their daily diet without the flavor profile of pure oil. The softgels make usage easy and allow accurate control of the dosage. The oil is derived from fresh coconuts and is not exposed to high temperatures during processing.
Virgin coconut oil is pressed directly from fresh coconuts and is unrefined, while regular coconut oil is often refined.
MCT stands for medium-chain triglycerides, which are fatty acids naturally found in coconut oil and often used in various dietary routines.
Yes. Because the fatty acids are quickly converted into ketones (an alternative energy source when following a low-carb diet), it helps maintain ketosis, the desired state of the ketogenic diet.
The softgels contain beef gelatin and are therefore not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.
With a daily use of three softgels per day, a package of 120 softgels lasts about 40 days.
