NOW Foods St. John's Wort 300 mg (100 and 250 capsules) is a herbal preparation containing a standardised extract of Hypericum perforatum, a plant that has been used traditionally for over 2000 years. Each capsule contains 300 mg extract with at least 0.3% hypericin. The product is suitable for vegans, non-GMO, halal, and produced in a GMP-certified facility.
St. John’s Wort (Hypericum perforatum) is a plant that naturally grows in Europe. The upper parts of the plant – such as the flower, leaf and stem – are often used in food supplements.
The active ingredient is hypericin, with a minimum concentration of 0.3%.
This product is not suitable for children up to and including 17 years of age. Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid exposure to intensive UV radiation (sunbathing, sunlamp, sunbed) when using this product. This product can adversely affect the effectiveness of various medicines, including the contraceptive pill.
