NOW Foods DHA-1000 Fish Oil Extra Strong (90 softgels) contains a high concentration of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) derived from fish oil. This supplement is suitable for anyone wishing to take a higher daily amount of DHA. The product is manufactured according to quality standards and is tested for purity, including for heavy metals. Thanks to the softgel form, taking the supplement is made easy. This fish oil offers an option for people who want to support their daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids.
Omega 3 is a group of unsaturated fatty acids. The main types are ALA (from plant sources), EPA and DHA (from fish and algae). EPA and DHA are preferred because they are directly available for the body, while ALA first has to be converted, which is not always efficient.
It contains about four times as much DHA (1000 mg per softgel) as products with a typical DHA content (250 mg per softgel).
One softgel contains 1000 mg DHA according to the manufacturer's label.
Yes, this softgel is made with bovine gelatine.
