Nature’s Way Alive! Premium Multivitamin Gummies for Men 50+ (75 gummies) contain 15 vitamins and minerals, including 8 B vitamins. The chewable gummies have an orange, grape, or cherry flavour. A daily serving of 3 gummies provides, among other things, 30 mcg vitamin D3, 112.5 mg vitamin C, 7.2 mcg vitamin B12, and 110 mcg selenium. Each serving also contains 200 mg of a powder blend of 26 fruits and vegetables, such as orange, blueberry, carrot, pomegranate, and broccoli. That blend is supplemented with 500 mcg lutein from marigold (Tagetes erecta) and 500 mcg lycopene. The gummies are made with pectin as gelling agent and are suitable for vegetarians. The formula is developed for men from 50 years onwards. With 3 gummies per day, a pack lasts 25 days.
Fat-soluble vitamins dissolve in fat. These are vitamins A, D, E, and K. Water-soluble vitamins dissolve in water. These are vitamin C and all B vitamins. This multivitamin contains both fat-soluble and water-soluble vitamins.
Vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) is derived from yeasts and mushrooms. Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) usually comes from animal sources, such as wool fat (lanolin). There is also a plant-based form from lichen.
Both are forms of vitamin B12. Cyanocobalamin is a stable form commonly used in supplements. This form is first converted into an active form, such as methylcobalamin. Methylcobalamin is itself already an active form of vitamin B12. This multivitamin contains cyanocobalamin.

Folate is the natural form of vitamin B9 and can be found in leafy greens, legumes, and wholegrain products. Folic acid is the synthetic form often used in supplements. On the label, folate is indicated in DFE (Dietary Folate Equivalents). 240 mcg folic acid is equal to 400 mcg DFE.
Lutein is a yellow carotenoid, a natural colourant from plants. It naturally occurs in kale, spinach, broccoli, and egg yolk. In this multivitamin, lutein is obtained from the flowers of the marigold.
