NOW Foods Saw Palmetto Extract 320 mg (90 softgels) is a supplement with standardized extract from the saw palmetto berry (Serenoa repens), combined with cold-pressed pumpkin seed oil. Each softgel contains 320 mg of saw palmetto berry extract, standardized to 85ā95% fatty acids. The pumpkin seed oil acts as a base oil and supports the fat solubility of the extract. The plant-based softgels are taken once per day, preferably during a meal. Available in a package of 90 softgels.
This means that the extract is purified and processed so that it contains a consistent amount of active fatty acids, namely between 85 and 95%. This ensures a predictable composition per dose.
