Methylcobalamin is a biologically active form of vitamin B12.
Methylfolate is a biologically active form of folic acid (vitamin B11) and does not need to be converted in the body. It is directly available for metabolic processes.
Chewable tablets dissolve easily in the mouth, which can promote absorption. The absorption of vitamin B12 already begins in the mouth, via the mucosa. Additionally, this form is convenient for people who have difficulty swallowing.
