Vegan hair and skin vitamins in gummy form
OASE Beauty works with one delivery form: vegan Soft Gums, a soft chew made without gelatin and without pectin. The method was developed with a Swiss partner and the gums are produced in Germany. Two gums a day is the full dose, so a jar of 60 lasts a month. You can compare the brand with the rest of the brands we carry.
Two formulas, two different jobs
OASE Hair Vitamins brings together 17 ingredients, among them biotin, zinc, selenium, iodine, folic acid, bamboo extract and the amino acids carnitine, cysteine and taurine. OASE Skin Vitamins uses 20 ingredients and adds astaxanthin plus Careflow, a patented mango fruit powder. Both have a dark berry taste and do not stick to your teeth. That is the practical reason most buyers choose them over tablets, and the same logic behind our wider range of supplements in gummy form. Alongside the gums, OASE also makes haircare such as its thickening shampoo.
What these nutrients are allowed to do
Biotin and zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal hair and normal skin. Selenium contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and nails. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of the skin. OASE calls its Skin Vitamins a vegan collagen booster. Read that as nutrients that support your own collagen formation, not as collagen you swallow. If you specifically want peptides, a different product group fits better.
Why OASE at BONO
We stock OASE because the form solves a real problem: plenty of people never manage a daily capsule, and a chew they enjoy actually gets taken. We also like that the dosing is simple and visible, two gums for one day, with nutrients named per ingredient rather than hidden in a blend, and amounts that stay within normal supplement levels. The gums are vegan and halal certified and free from gelatin, gluten, soy and dairy. Every product passes our compliance team before it goes live, we test ourselves and independent labs spot-check batches. You can read how we select brands.
Who this suits, and who it does not
OASE fits you if you want a straightforward daily routine for hair or skin and dislike swallowing pills. It suits men and women equally. It is less suitable if you count sugar closely: one daily dose contains about 2.8 grams of sugar, roughly a bite of banana. That is modest, and for many people it is the trade-off that keeps them consistent, which matters more than the form itself. Compare it with our other options for hair growth if you would rather avoid added sugar.
Honest expectations
Hair grows roughly one centimetre a month, so any nutrient effect shows slowly. OASE advises at least three months of daily use, and we would give the same advice. Nutrition is also only one factor: shedding driven by genetics, hormones, thyroid function or low iron will not respond to a beauty supplement, and it is worth having those checked before you keep buying. Used with that in mind, these gums are a simple way to cover the nutrients linked to hair, skin and nails every day.
Frequently asked questions
What is OASE Beauty?
OASE Beauty is a European beauty supplement brand built around one form: vegan Soft Gums. These are soft chews made without gelatin and without pectin, developed with a Swiss partner and produced in Germany. The range covers two supplement formulas, OASE Hair Vitamins and OASE Skin Vitamins, plus haircare such as a thickening shampoo. The gums are vegan and halal certified and free from gelatin, gluten, soy, dairy and peanuts.
What is the difference between OASE Hair Vitamins and OASE Skin Vitamins?
Both are chewed twice a day, but the formulas differ. Hair Vitamins uses 17 ingredients, including biotin, zinc, selenium, iodine, folic acid, bamboo extract and the amino acids carnitine, cysteine and taurine. Skin Vitamins uses 20 ingredients and adds astaxanthin and Careflow, a patented mango fruit powder. Choose by your main goal. If you care about both, pick one for three months rather than doubling up, because several nutrients overlap between the two.
How do I take them and how long before I notice anything?
Take two Soft Gums per day, at any moment that suits you. There is no need to take them with a meal, which makes them easy to keep up. One jar of 60 gums covers 30 days. Give it at least three months before you judge the result. Hair grows around one centimetre a month, so newly formed hair simply needs time to become visible. Skin changes are also gradual rather than sudden.
Should I choose gummies, capsules or a powder?
The best form is the one you take every day. Gummies win on consistency, capsules on flexible dosing and no sugar.
| Form | What stands out | Suits |
|---|---|---|
| Soft Gums | Chewable, no water, small amount of sugar | People who dislike pills |
| Capsules | No sugar, higher doses possible | Targeted single nutrients |
| Tablets | Usually lowest cost per day | Budget-focused buyers |
| Powder | Mixes into drinks, larger servings | Collagen or protein use |
How much biotin, zinc and selenium is safe per day?
UK guidance gives clear limits for supplements, and OASE stays within normal supplement levels. Use these figures to check your total intake if you combine several products.
| Nutrient | NHS guidance for supplements |
|---|---|
| Biotin | 0.9 mg a day or less |
| Folic acid | 1 mg a day or less |
| Zinc | No more than 25 mg a day |
| Selenium | 350 mcg a day or less |
Can I take OASE gums during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
Both formulas contain vitamin A. NHS guidance is that if you are pregnant, you should avoid supplements containing vitamin A unless your doctor or midwife advises otherwise, and also avoid liver and liver products. So we would not recommend these gums during pregnancy. Ask your midwife or GP which supplement fits your situation, and check the label of anything you already take, because vitamin A appears in many multivitamins.
Can I combine OASE with a multivitamin or a collagen supplement?
Combining is possible, but add up the totals first. A multivitamin usually contains the same vitamins and minerals, so you can pass the limits in the table above without noticing. If you use both, choose a low-dose multivitamin or alternate. Combining with collagen peptides is more logical, since peptides supply protein building blocks rather than extra vitamins and minerals. Keep one routine for three months, so you can tell what is working.
Do hair vitamins with biotin actually work?
Honest answer: it depends on why your hair is changing. Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair, so a supplement helps most when your intake is short. If shedding comes from genetics, hormones, thyroid problems or low iron, extra biotin will not fix the cause. That is worth checking with your GP first. One more practical point: high biotin intake can interfere with some blood tests, so tell the lab you take it before testing.
Why are the Soft Gums free from gelatin and pectin, and does that matter?
Most gummies get their texture from gelatin, which comes from animals, or from pectin, a plant fibre. OASE uses neither, which is what makes the gums vegan while keeping a soft bite that does not cling to your teeth. The practical benefit is comfort and suitability: they fit vegan and halal diets, and they contain no gluten, soy, dairy or peanuts. The trade-off is a small amount of sugar, about 2.8 grams per daily dose.
