Vitakruid B12 Combi 10.000® with Folate (60 and 120 melting tablets) contains the biologically active forms of vitamin B12, methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin. Each tablet provides 10,000 mcg of vitamin B12. Additionally, active folic acid (folate) in the form of Quatrefolic® is included. This supplement is suitable for vegans.
Quatrefolic® is the fourth-generation folate (5-MTHF) with superior bioavailability compared to synthetic folic acid. It is directly active in the body and does not require conversion.
Methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin are both biologically active forms of vitamin B12, which can be used directly by the body without further conversion.
Melting tablets dissolve under the tongue, allowing vitamin B12 to be directly absorbed through the oral mucosa. This bypasses the digestive system.
Some people cannot properly break down vitamin B6, which can lead to accumulation in the body. This formula is therefore free from vitamin B6.
