The combination pack includes two supplements in one. It contains amounts of vitamin K1 and K2 and vitamin D3 tailored for young children.
The Health Council recommends giving all children up to age 4 an extra 10 mcg of vitamin D per day.
For breastfed infants up to 12 weeks, a daily intake of 150 micrograms of vitamin K is recommended, starting on day 8 after birth. This advice applies only if the baby consumes less than 500 ml of formula per day.
The combination pack contains both a bottle of vitamin D3 and a bottle of vitamin K, specifically for newborns. One bottle of vitamin D lasts almost a year. The bottle of vitamin K is sufficient for the first 12 weeks.
