Silicon is a mineral that naturally occurs in the body and in plants such as bamboo and nettle.
Organic silicon is a natural form of silicon derived from the leaves and stems of the nettle plant (Urtica dioica). This type of silicon is bound to organic molecules, making it easier for the body to absorb compared to inorganic forms, such as sand.
