Vitakruid Saffron & L-Theanine (30 and 90 capsules) combines the patented Affron® saffron extract with green tea. Saffron is a spice and dye that has been used for centuries in Ayurveda. The extract in this formula is standardized to 3.5% lepticrosalides. The green tea extract contains no less than 40% L-theanine, amounting to 100 mg per capsule.
The saffron in this supplement is derived from high-quality saffron threads from the flower of Crocus sativus, known for its purity and quality.
Standardized means that every production batch of Affron® saffron contains the same amount of active substances, such as 3.5% lepticrosalides. This ensures reliable quality.
No, the saffron extract in this supplement is much more concentrated and contains a standardized amount of bioactive substances. Kitchen saffron is used for flavor and is not standardized to active substances such as crocin and safranal.
