Solgar Ester-C® Plus Vitamin C 1000 mg (30, 60, 90, or 180 tablets) provides vitamin C in the form of Ester-C® (calcium-L-ascorbate), a well-absorbed and mild form of vitamin C. This formula includes additional ingredients such as a citrus bioflavonoid complex, rutin, rosehip powder, and acerola extract, ingredients that are often found together with vitamin C in nature. This supplement is suitable for daily use.
Ester-C® is a pH-neutral form of vitamin C, meaning it is non-acidic and could therefore be gentler on the stomach.
Citrus bioflavonoids are plant compounds that naturally occur in citrus fruits. They are often combined with vitamin C in supplements.
Acerola is a fruit naturally rich in vitamin C. The extract is often added to complement vitamin C formulas.
Calcium-L-ascorbate is a buffered vitamin C form, where vitamin C is bound to the mineral calcium. This non-acidic compound is gentler on the stomach.
