NatureWise Vegan Vitamin K2 with VitaMK7® (90, 180, or 360 softgels) provides vitamin K2 in two forms: MK-7 and MK-4. This supplement contains 100 mcg of MK-7 and 500 mcg of MK-4 per softgel, derived from natural fermentation processes. Organic extra virgin olive oil is added as a carrier to support the absorption of vitamin K.Â
MK-4 is mainly found in animal-based foods, whereas MK-7 is often derived from fermented sources such as natto. MK-4 has a short half-life and is quickly absorbed, but remains active in the body for a shorter time. MK-7 circulates in the blood longer, which is beneficial for a stable effect.
